Bennett Adams opened the decrypted file and felt his pulse quicken before going past even the first few lines. This data held planetary surveys from a time before the Three-twelve grew crowded. Ancient by Bureaucracy standards, the records were hundreds of years old, at least. No, not just survey data, but also a secret report. This survey team found something…special. Several notations regarding something called “Sleeper” but no details whatever. Expunged. And no one would have asked the original science team as none survived the arrival of the second team.
The second team consisted not of scientists but soldiers.
