A sense of motion is really evident here. My mind wants to ask several questions–is it a rescue or an attack? The strange thing is: up until the moment of contact, there’s really no way to be certain. And in this image, part of the tension may simply be that the contact will never occur–the figures are locked in-between.
That’s what I like to hear :)
